Below is the full breakdown for each one.
Error 271581191: Dynamic Batch Download Failed
“Dynamic batch download failed. Please check the network environment or restart the client.”
This one shows up during the initial install or any big patch download. Players have been hitting it since launch week.
Verified Fixes
- Spam the Retry button. Sounds dumb. Works often. The download is choking on a specific batch, and forcing it to try again pushes through. The r/thedivisionresurgence community thread confirms this as fix number one.
- Switch your network. Wi-Fi to mobile data, or the other way around. ISP-level filtering or a flaky DNS is the most common root cause.
- Toggle Wi-Fi on and off repeatedly. One Reddit user reported this worked when nothing else did: turn Wi-Fi off, start the download on mobile data, then toggle Wi-Fi back on and off until the download completes. We can’t explain it either. It works.
- Use a VPN. Specifically connect to a UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, or US server. Multiple players have confirmed this resolves the issue when network switching fails. Once you reach the main menu, you can usually disconnect the VPN.
If you’re stuck at this error and have already tried all four, you’re looking at a deeper account or device issue. File a ticket through the in-game support button.
Error 6000010: Network Connection Error
“Network connection error. Please check your network connection and try again or exit the game.”
The most common error in Division Resurgence. Happens at login, during matchmaking, when entering instances, and randomly mid-mission. Some players incorrectly report this as error 600100 (one digit short, same code).
Verified Fixes
- Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data. Same logic as 271581191. If you’re on Wi-Fi, kill the app, switch to data, relaunch. Most fixes start here.
- Airplane mode reset. Toggle airplane mode on for 30 seconds, off, relaunch. Forces your device to grab a fresh IP and clear stale routing.
- VPN. Connect to a server in the US, France, Germany, Netherlands, or the UK. The game runs in these regions officially, so traffic routed through them is treated as native. After the game reaches the main menu, you can usually disconnect.
- Fully close the game first. Not just background it. Swipe it out of recent apps. Then relaunch. The connection state gets cached and a soft restart often won’t clear it.
- Check your free storage. This error can also trigger when the game can’t write session data. Make sure you have at least 5 GB of free space on your device.
When It Isn’t Your Network
If 6000010 hits everyone at the same time and the official @TheDivMobile X account has posted maintenance windows, it’s a server issue. Ubisoft has run scheduled maintenance windows on April 15, May 12, and May 26, 2026 so far, and Phase 3 in June will almost certainly bring another. Check the social channels before you reset your router for the fourth time.
”Network Failure” Popup on Launch
This is the one the Ultimate Bug List on r/thedivisionresurgence flagged as Mid to High priority back on May 19. It hits during relaunch and locks you out before you reach character select.
Verified Fixes
- Force-close the app fully from recent apps.
- Toggle airplane mode for 30 seconds.
- Switch between Wi-Fi and data if step 2 didn’t work.
- Relaunch.
If it persists after three retries, restart the device entirely. Ubisoft has not confirmed a permanent fix yet.
Stuck at 99% on the Program Update
Most reported during launch week and again right after Phase 2 dropped on May 11. The bar inches up, hits 99%, and refuses to finish.
Verified Fixes
- Free up at least 5 GB of storage. The game needs buffer space to write final verification files. Ubisoft’s own help page recommends 17 GB total available space even though the game is around 10.5 GB.
- Switch to mobile data for the final 1%. Wi-Fi networks sometimes drop the small verification packets the game needs to confirm the install. Mobile data tends to push them through.
- Restart the device if step 2 fails. Reboot, relaunch the App Store or Play Store, and let the update resume.
- Reinstall as a last resort. Painful, but it works when nothing else does. You will not lose your account because progress is tied to Ubisoft Connect, not the local install. Just log back in.
Connection Drops When Entering Instances
Reported on April 6, 2026 by multiple players. Open world is fine, but the moment you enter a mission or instance you get booted. Some players reported error 600100 (the 6000010 typo) when this happened.
Verified Fixes
- The standard 6000010 stack: switch network, airplane mode, VPN.
- If you’re on an older iOS device (first generation iPad Pro, iPhone 11 and earlier), this can also be a memory issue. Close background apps before launching.
- Multiple players reported the issue cleared on its own within 12 to 24 hours when it was a server-side congestion problem during peak hours.
If you’re getting kicked specifically out of the Dark Zone after looting, that’s a different known issue tracked separately. Do not extract until you’re confident your connection is stable, or that god roll goes into the void.
No Audio on Android
Ubisoft has confirmed this in their Help Center. It’s actively under investigation.
Official Workaround
The workaround uses the in-game Mic / Speaker toggle, which only unlocks once you reach the multiplayer area for the first time. Until then, the fix isn’t available, which Ubisoft acknowledged isn’t ideal.
Once you’ve reached multiplayer:
- Tap the mic icon in-game.
- Turn Mic and Speaker controls on.
- Exit the menu.
- Open the menu again and turn Mic and Speaker off.
- Audio should return.
If audio still doesn’t return, minimize the app and reopen it. This has restored sound for several players per Ubisoft’s note.
Patch 1.1.2 on April 28 addressed audio issues for most devices. If you’re still affected after that patch, report it through the in-game support button so Ubisoft can log your device details.
No Audio on iOS
Different cause than Android. On iPhone and iPad, the hardware silent switch on the side of the device routes game audio through the silent channel. Flip the switch off (the orange indicator should disappear) and audio returns immediately. Per the Ubisoft Help Center, this is the most common cause of “no sound” reports on iOS.
Hitbar / Damage Not Registering
You shoot, the bullets visibly hit, no damage applies. Listed in the Ultimate Bug List as a known issue.
Verified Fix
The bug activates when you leave the app open in the background for a long time without re-logging, or after a connection drop and reconnect mid-session. The fix is simple:
- Fully close the game.
- Wait five seconds.
- Relaunch.
You’ll be on a fresh session and damage will register correctly. It’s the closest Division Resurgence has to “turn it off and on again,” which we know isn’t the satisfying answer, but it works every time.
Cannot Claim Dark Zone Augmentation Reward
Confirmed in the Patch 1.2.1 notes as a known issue still not fixed. The DZ quest reward for the Tactical Augmentation Module cannot be claimed.
What to Do
Do not press claim. Leave the reward sitting in the quest screen until Ubisoft ships the fix. Claiming the bugged version has resulted in lost rewards for some players, and recovery requires a support ticket. Wait for Phase 3 or the next hotfix.
Visual Only: Locked Golden OS Icon
You equip a Golden OS Protocol and the icon shows as locked in the Character Menu. The OS still works perfectly. Damage applies, talent triggers, everything fine. It’s a purely cosmetic bug listed in the Ultimate Bug List with no fix needed and no fix coming as a priority. Ignore it and keep playing.
iOS Gamepad / Controller UI Broken
Patch 1.2.1 explicitly listed this as still under investigation. Players using controllers on iOS lose the dedicated controller UI and the input wheel after the update.
Community Workaround
Per Patch 1.2.1 notes coverage, logging into the PC client once through Ubisoft Connect, then returning to iOS, has cleared the lockout for several players. It’s a band-aid until the real fix ships, but it works often enough to be worth trying.
You can also blur unused on-screen controls and rearrange icons in the in-game settings if you want a cleaner display while you wait. Not a fix, just a way to play through it.
When the Error Isn’t Your Fault: Server Maintenance
Some “errors” are just Ubisoft taking the servers down on purpose. Confirmed maintenance windows so far in 2026:
- April 15, 2026 at 9 AM CET, all servers, 30 minutes
- May 12, 2026 at launch of Phase 2
- May 26, 2026 at 1 PM CET, Asian servers only (server relocation to reduce latency)
Before you reset your router, check the official @TheDivMobile X account and the Resurgence Discord. If a maintenance is in progress, no fix on your end will change anything. Make a sandwich and check back in an hour.
General Troubleshooting Stack (When You Don’t Know the Code)
If you’re getting an error message that doesn’t show a number, work through these in order. Eight out of ten connectivity issues clear on one of the first three steps.
- Fully close the game. Swipe it out of recent apps, not just background it.
- Toggle airplane mode for 30 seconds.
- Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
- Restart the device.
- Connect to a VPN (US, UK, France, Germany, or Netherlands server).
- Free up 5 GB of storage if you’re getting download or patch errors.
- Check official channels for maintenance announcements.
- File a support ticket through the in-game support button with your transaction ID, device model, and a screenshot of the error.
How to File a Bug or Error Report That Ubisoft Will Actually Read
The in-game Support button is the only reliable route. Don’t post on Reddit and hope. Ubisoft’s bug report guidelines ask for:
- Type of bug
- Description
- Video or screenshot
- Steps to reproduce
- Expected result
- Observed result
- Reproduction rate (every time / sometimes / once)
- System specs (device model, OS version)
Tickets with a screenshot and reproduction steps get triaged faster than tickets without. If you also have a transaction ID for purchase issues, include it.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the most common Division Resurgence error code?
Error 6000010 (Network connection error) is the most reported error. It hits at login, during matchmaking, and inside instances. The fix is almost always a network switch or VPN connection.
How do I fix error 271581191 in Division Resurgence?
Spam the retry button, switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, or connect to a VPN in a region the game officially runs in (UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, or US). One of those three resolves it for the vast majority of players.
Why does Division Resurgence keep disconnecting me in missions?
Most likely error 6000010. Switch networks, toggle airplane mode, or use a VPN. If everyone in your region is reporting it, it's a Ubisoft server issue and you just wait it out.
Is there an in-game error code lookup in Division Resurgence?
No. Errors display a numeric code in the popup, but the game does not link out to documentation. The in-game Support button is the closest thing, and it routes you to a chat ticket system.
Will Ubisoft refund items lost to bugs?
Sometimes. The Patch 1.2.1 compensation included 500,000 Basic Credits and 750 Phoenix Credits to every account as a blanket apology for the Phase 2 inventory and vendor bugs. For individual item losses, file a support ticket with screenshots and a description.
Does using a VPN get my account banned?
There are no confirmed bans for using a VPN solely to resolve connection errors. The game is officially available worldwide in the supported regions, so connecting through one of them isn't circumventing geo-restrictions.
How do I avoid losing my progress when reinstalling?
Your character and progress live on your Ubisoft Connect account, not the local install. As long as you log back into the same Ubisoft account, everything comes back. The only thing you lose on a reinstall is the download time.
