Patch 1.2.1 Notes - Vendor Fixes, Inventory Fixes, and a Very Public Strawberry Milkshake Apology
Patch 1.2.1 deployed on May 20, 2026. This is a targeted hotfix , not a content drop , aimed at the vendor meltdown, inventory losses, and Classified Ops Pass chaos that followed the Phase 2 launch on May 11–12. It also includes a significant line about Strawberry Milkshake that every Phase 2 player needs to read. Source: Ubisoft Mobile Help Center , Patch Note 1.2.1.
Compensation - Sent to Every Account
Ubisoft is mailing this directly to your in-game mailbox. No claim button, no timer, no special offer. Just open your mail.
- 500,000 Basic Credits
- 750 Phoenix Credits
This is the largest blanket compensation the game has issued since launch.
Vendor Fixes
The vendor had several issues after Phase 2 launched. Here’s the cleanup:
- Fixed vendors not showing items the player could sell
- Fixed players being able to sell locked or favorited items
- Fixed the Dark Zone vendor displaying no item names
Strawberry Milkshake - Fixes and the Official Buff Signal
This is the section everyone’s been waiting for.
“We are aware that many players report underwhelming perks for the weapon and are looking into how this may be addressed.” , Ubisoft, Patch 1.2.1 Notes
A buff is being discussed. Officially. In writing. Mid-phase. Don’t burn your recalibration mats until the numbers land.
Additional Strawberry Milkshake changes in 1.2.1:
- Anarchy talent description fixed , the effect value displayed was incorrect before. Corrected values: 2.40% Weapon Damage over 4.50 seconds, up to 50 stacks; death transfers stacks within 12 meters. The pre-fix tooltip showed 100% WD / 10s / 25m , wildly wrong numbers that inflated community expectations
- Weekly Mission Exotic Manual / Booklet rewards can now correctly drop Strawberry Milkshake recalibration material , start farming these now so you’re ready when the buff hits
Lone Wolf Challenge
- Fixed the reset schedule. Lone Wolf now refreshes every 3 weeks as originally intended
Classified Ops Pass
- Fixed players who purchased the pass not receiving their purchase
- Fixed pass level upgrades costing more than the listed in-game price
If you were hit by either of these bugs, Ubisoft says to contact support via the in-game support button. Have your transaction ID ready , they will need it.
Inventory Items Disappearing
- Fixed the bug where items would randomly disappear when inventory was full
Ubisoft notes that edge cases may still exist. Their recommendation: if it happens again, submit a support ticket immediately. Our recommendation: screenshot your inventory before and after every patch until this is fully stable.
Items lost before this patch are being handled on a case-by-case basis through support tickets. The pre-1.2.1 compensation offer from support was as low as 300 credits for lost god-rolls. The 500K/750 Phoenix Credits blanket payout today is clearly the bigger fix.
Localization Fixes
Not glamorous, but real , especially for non-English players who have been staring at mystery text since Phase 2:
- “Sold Out” now translates correctly in the Specials store
- Exotic Weapon Tactical Augmentations Cache now has correct translations in the Dark Zone vendor
- Fixed untranslated text appearing after purchasing deals in non-English languages
- Fixed “Text not found” placeholder showing for the Exclusive SHD Key reward
Known Issues - Still Not Fixed
Ubisoft explicitly acknowledges the following are not resolved in this patch. This list is in the official patch notes, unusually transparently:
- Gamepad support issues on iOS
- “Outpost Annihilation” side mission not progressing , confirmed broken since beta, still listed as under investigation
- Some purchases still not being received in-game , contact support with a transaction ID
- Tactical Augmentation reward from the Dark Zone quest cannot be claimed
- Weapon proficiency blocked in some cases , see the workaround if you’re on iOS: logging into the PC client once typically clears it
What This Patch Doesn’t Include
To be clear: Patch 1.2.1 is not a content patch. There are no new missions, no new exotics, no balance changes beyond the Strawberry Milkshake buff signal. The next content milestone is Phase 3 in June 2026, which brings the Scorpio exotic, the Freemen apparel set, and a refreshed Classified Ops Pass.
We’ll have full coverage of Phase 3 the moment it drops.
Player Impact
Patch 1.2.1 is the trust patch. The 500K Basic Credits and 750 Phoenix Credits compensation acknowledges that Phase 2’s launch was rough — and the transparency of listing known-but-unfixed issues in the official notes is unusual for a live-service studio. Most devs bury those acknowledgments. Ubisoft put them in bold.
For build-focused players, the key takeaway is: do not invest recalibration materials into the Strawberry Milkshake yet. The buff confirmation is in writing, which means Ubisoft will change the numbers. Farm the Weekly Mission Exotic Manuals now so you’re ready to recalibrate the moment the updated values drop.
The inventory fix is the critical one. If you lost items before this patch, your path is a support ticket with screenshots. If you’re still experiencing connection issues, check the error codes guide for the full troubleshooting stack. And if you’re wondering what the Phase 3 Scorpio exotic will bring, we’ll have coverage the day it launches.
