Resurgence offers five Specializations. Four are available early; one (Tech Operator) is a later unlock. Each specialization is a separate 49-point tree.
The Five Specializations

| Survivalist | Sustain / utility | Healing skills, providing longer-fight viability. |
| Tech Operator | Skill-centric tank-mage | Unlocks later in progression, not at the start. |
Mechanics Worth Knowing
- Level requirement: You must be at least Level 12 to swap specializations.
- Skill Trees: Each spec has its own unique 49-point talent tree.
- Team Composition: For Legendary squads, the community-favored composition is one of each role (DPS, Tank, Support). Running 4 Vanguards is doable but heavily punishing on group survivability.
