If you’ve just downloaded the PC Early Access client, here are the settings worth knowing before you queue your first activity.
Installation
- Ubisoft Connect download — currently the only PC client; Steam is not yet officially announced.
- ~17 GB on disk.
UI Prompts
By default, UI prompts might feel off if you’re swapping between inputs.
- Open
Settings → Generic Settings → External Device UI - Enable “Keyboard/Mouse Exclusive UI” if you’re playing on KB+M.
- Enable “Controller UI” if you’re using a gamepad.
- This swaps the on-screen prompts so they actually match your input device.
Aiming
- Set Aim Mode to “Hold” for conventional PC ADS — right-click to aim, release to drop out.
Frame Rate
- The Early Access client is locked at 60 FPS but supports the Very High graphics preset without the strict visual caps of mobile.
- Phase 2 (May 12) added expanded graphics settings on some high-end devices.
Cross-Play & Cross-Progression
- Same Ubisoft Connect account = one character across mobile and PC.
- If you played on mobile as a guest, link your Ubisoft Connect account before logging in on PC, otherwise your progress will not carry over.
Steam Deck
- Works through Ubisoft Connect installation on Steam Deck.
- Community testing reports ~60 FPS on max settings with occasional stutter and ~3 hour battery life. (Note: Third-party reports, not Ubisoft-confirmed)
